Description
- The Capital Assistance grant program supports public transportation capital projects necessary to maintain, improve, or expand public transportation services.The The MERIT Capital Assistance – Major Expansion (MAJ) Funding Opportunity should supports projects that 1. Add, expand, or improve transit services or facilities with a total cost of $3 million or more, 2. Include the replacement of an entire existing facility with a total cost of $3 million or more, or 3. Include the purchase of more than 5 expansion vehicles OR expansion vehicles that equal more than 5% of overall fleet size (whichever is greater).
